  18. Assuming you run OS 3.0 or higher, possible solutions are:

  20. 1. Rename aweb/docs/aweblogo.iff to aweb/docs/badlogo.iff
  21.    If that solves your problem, get the fixed aweblogo.iff
  22.    file from Aminet (comm/tcp) and put it in aweb/docs. It
  23.    seems some versions of the iff.datatype have problems
  24.    with that file.

  26. 2. Rename the aweb/aweb.prefs file to oldaweb.prefs. If this
  27.    solve your problem, use the settings menuitem to set your
  28.    favorite preferences.

  30. 3. Are you running any non-standard programs or hacks? Try
  31.    starting without them and see if that works. This not
  32.    only goes for AWeb, but for other programs as well
  33.  
  34. Due to the fact that you where rather glabal in describing
  35. your problem I cannot offer more detailed and to the point
  36. advice...
